UK STEM provides educational services to the international community through in-country STEM audits and teacher training, provisions of STEM resources and delivery of UK-based STEM camps for international school and college groups.

November 2021: Dubai

We are excited to announce we are going to Dubai this November to provide a school support review in collaboration with Gulf Education Services (GES).

October 2019: Hedef Liseyi STEM School, Baku, Azerbaijan

In 2019 Mike went to Azerbaijan to deliver two days of STEM lectures and workshops, focusing on STEM career and industrial links into education projects.

2018 and 2019: Union Culture Education

In 2018 and 2019, UK STEM managed STEM camps in the UK for Beijing Schools. 70 children came over each year to take part in a week focused on STEM projects, industry links and progression through a STEM education.

2018: In-country STEM training for China Education Authority

In partnership with Union Culture Education, UK STEM delivered a series of 6 STEM training sessions for the department of education, Wuhan. Audiences of around 200 teachers took part in each session with live translation provided.

2016: JSS International School, Dubai

In 2016, Mike went to Dubai to deliver teaching training in STEM.

2010-2012: Offshore wind energy partnership

Arranged and managed student visits to Bremerhaven and Aarhus. Mike was the lead partner in conjunction with local FE colleges.

2005-2007: UK India Education Research Initiative

Lead partner working to develop the partnerships between schools in Bangalore and East Yorkshire.

2000-2002: Anguilla Secondary School

Mike was the Design and Technology lead on technical support for Anguillan education authority. He also went to Anguilla to deliver staff training.
